Those pinheads of the penal code are spreading law and disorder through sunny Florida. Almost all the outrageous academy regulars reunite for a farewell salute to retiring Commandant Lassard when he addresses a Miami cop convention. While pain-in-the-neck Lt. Harris schemes to advance his own career, Lassard stumbles onto a cache of stolen diamonds, sending bad guy Rene Auberjonois on a manic chase to recover them.
